Schools Education Outreach
Derry City and Strabane District Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for the delivery of a Schools Education Outreach Programme as part of the City of Derry Jazz & Big Band Festival 2026.
The programme is aimed at post-primary pupils, introducing them to the world of jazz and fostering a lifelong appreciation of the genre through live, interactive workshops.
This programme will run 4-6 weeks prior to the festival, which takes place from Wednesday 29th April – Monday 4th May 2026.
Submission Requirements
Please provide the following details in your proposal:
- Number of Schools and Sessions: Indicate how many schools you aim to engage with and the planned number of sessions.
- Planned Activities: Outline the activities you intend to deliver as part of the programme.
- Promotion and PR: Describe how you will promote the programme and maximise public relations opportunities.
- Relevant Experience: Include any relevant experience in delivering similar projects.
